Privacy Policy

This notice explains how TechBeacon Innovations LLP processes personal data when delivering Self Audit by Social Media Check.

1. Who We Are

Social Media Check is a trading name of TechBeacon Innovations LLP. In relation to account and service administration data, we act as data controller for the personal data processed in connection with this platform.

2. Data Collection

When you use the platform, we collect data needed to authenticate your account, operate the service, and provide the read-only self-audit workspace you request.

  • Google account identifiers and profile metadata made available through OAuth consent.
  • Session and authentication state data required to keep your session active and secure.
  • YouTube and analytics metadata returned by Google APIs after your authorization.
  • Operational diagnostics and support correspondence when you contact us.

3. Google User Data Accessed (Data Accessed)

After you grant consent, the app accesses Google user data through the following scopes and API responses. Access is limited to data required for the self-audit workflow.

  • `openid`, `profile`, `email`: basic Google account identity data such as name, email address, profile image, and account identifier.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly`: YouTube channel metadata, video metadata, playlist metadata, and related public-facing statistics for your authenticated account.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly`: read-only analytics metrics used to generate review and trend views.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.download`: requested as part of the configured OAuth consent scope set.

4. Data Usage

We use collected data only to deliver the requested service functionality and keep the platform reliable and secure.

  • Authenticate you and establish your secure session.
  • Retrieve and render your YouTube and analytics data in read-only self-audit views.
  • Maintain service integrity, detect misuse, and troubleshoot technical incidents.
  • Respond to customer support, privacy, and legal compliance requests.

5. Data Storage and Retention

The platform is designed for read-only review. YouTube content and analytics data are fetched from Google APIs when requested in-session rather than copied into a long-term application database for product features.

OAuth credentials and session state are stored in secure authentication session mechanisms to maintain access continuity, and are retained only for the duration needed to operate the service and satisfy security or legal obligations.

  • Session data is protected using secure transport (HTTPS) and access controls.
  • Operational logs are retained for a limited period for reliability and security monitoring.
  • Support and compliance records are retained only as long as necessary for the purpose collected.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to operate, secure, or comply with law.

  • Service providers: hosting, infrastructure, and security vendors that process data solely to run the service on our behalf and under contractual safeguards.
  • Legal requirements: disclosures required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and platform security.
  • Business transfers: if the business is reorganized, merged, or sold, data may be transferred subject to applicable legal protections.

7. Security Controls

We use access controls, encryption-in-transit, and operational monitoring to reduce unauthorized access risk. No internet-facing service can provide absolute security, but we apply proportionate safeguards.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can stop data access at any time by disconnecting the app from your Google account permissions. Subject to applicable law, you may also have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and rights related to portability and complaints to supervisory authorities.

  • To revoke Google access, remove this app from your Google account permissions settings.
  • Support and rights requests: support@techbeaconinnovations.com
  • Privacy-specific requests: privacy@techbeaconinnovations.com

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or service changes. Material revisions will be reflected in the published effective version.

Effective date: March 27, 2026.
